Breakfast Cookies
A quick breakfast treat
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup wholw wheat flour
- 2 cups quick oatmeal
- 1/2 cup wheat germ
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup raisins
- figs, cranberries and nuts (a handful of each - optional)
Instructions
Mix the dry ingredients into a bowl except the brown sugar. Cream the butter, peanut and brown sugar with a mixer. Add the eggs and water. Blend in the dey ingredients. hand mix in raisins and other add-ins you desire. Dollop onto a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
Servings: depends on the size of the cookie you wish.
