Grandma's granola
breakfast cereal
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of dry milk
- 5 cups of oatmeal
- 1/2 cup Flaxmeal
- 1/4 cup wheat germ
- 1/2 cup of bran
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla
- 1/2 cup of olive oil
- 1/2 cup of honey or brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of orange juice
- 1/2 cup of dry cranberries
- 1/2 cup of walnuts
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
Instructions
Mix together oatmeal, dry milk, Flaxmeal, wheat germ, walnuts, cinnamon, and bran. Heat in microwave for 1 minute on high, olive oil, vanilla, honey or brown sugar and orange juice. Combine the dry and wet ingredients together and stir. Place the mixture on 2 cookie sheets. Bake in oven at 300 degrees for 30 minutes, but stir every 10 minutes. Let cool and then add cranberries with the granola.
